Quiet, Comfort and Lots of Rewrites

Long overdue for an update, so here’s the latest:

I’ve spent the last month stage managing QUIET, COMFORT at Jack in scenic Bed Stuy.  We’re down to our last two performances, and it’s been a fascinating, delightful ride with a brilliant group of artists.  And The New York Times agrees!

Last week, The Navigators Theater Company hosted its second annual Lift-Off New Play Series.  I had an amazing time working with this sci-fi-loving young company again, this time directing five of the best actors I know in a production of Adam Esquenazi Douglas’s ONCE UPON A TIME ON THE SURFACE OF MARS and a reading of Elford Alley’s GHOSTS.

Up next are a number of writing projects I’m excited to dig into.  A brand new full-length and short one-act are on the way.  And rewrites for SUPERTOPIA and LONG TIME GONE are not far behind.  So stay tuned for superheros, the Wild West, and much more.
